CONTENT SPECIFICATIONS
Contributors will be asked to create unique and original AUs featuring the Hyuluka ship.Please avoid recreating any existing AUs within the ALNST franchise in your work.
Examples of what to avoid include:
- “Weige” AU, Actor (OffRec) AU, and other official ALNST AUs
- Sweet Dreams Cafe AU
- Baniste Cafe AU
- Starved By Love, Fed By Hate AU
- Passion/Love Sports AU
- Existing merch lines which feature designs/AUs not mentioned aboveHowever, you may draw inspiration from the existing ALNST story to create an original AU!
Examples of acceptable unique and original AUs:
- Swap! AU (such as roleswap, where Luka takes Hyuna’s role as the rebel leader and vice versa as the ‘prince’ of the stage; or personality swap; or backstory swap; etc.)
- Alternate Round! AU (eg. Hyuluka in R1, R5, R6, etc.)
- Rebel! AU (eg. HyuLuka in the rebellion!)
As this is an SFW zine, we will not allow any explicit blood/gore/nudity.
Suggestive themes may be allowed upon consultation with the Mods, but in general, please ensure it is kept to a minimum! If you can't show it to your grandma without doing some explaining, the subject matter may not be suitable for this zine.You are welcome to include other ALNST characters in your work; however, as this zine is centered on Hyuna and Luka's romance, please keep Hyuluka as the main focus!

FAQ
1. How old do contributors have to be to participate?
18 years or older, no exceptions.2. Can contributors make multiple pieces for this zine?
No – due to the tight schedule of this zine, we ask that all contributors only create one piece of page art or merch type across the entirety of the creation period.3. Are contributors allowed to work in collaboration with each other?
Yes – contributors will be allowed to work in collaboration with each other as long as the final product of each piece is your own original work. You may consult with Mods to determine if any collaborative ideas are suitable for this zine.4. Will contributors be allowed to use/sell/repurpose work created for this zine?
Yes - contributors retain all rights to their work and will be allowed to use/sell/repurpose any pieces they create for this zine.
However, we ask that contributors wait until sales conclude before distributing their full completed pieces in any form, including WIPs. We may ask to use your check-ins in promotional graphics for our social media, but it is your choice to consent or not.5. What can contributors include in their portfolio?
We ask for a minimum of 5 fully rendered digital artworks in your portfolio OR a minimum of 3 merch designs/pictures (if you are applying for the merch artist role).6. What can contributors use as a portfolio?
Google Drive folders*, Carrd/personal website portfolios, VGen pages/commissions are all acceptable for consideration as a portfolio. Please avoid using a social media account as your portfolio unless it is solely an art account (no heavy RT, replies, etc.)
*If using Google Drive, please ensure your share permissions are set to “anyone with the link - can view”. Check that you can access your link in an incognito tab or private window.7. Can contributors include NSFW in their portfolio?
No – due to the SFW nature of this zine, we ask that you do not include graphic NSFW (eg. excessive blood, gore, or sexual content) in your portfolio for consideration. Doing so will result in a lack of further consideration for the project.8. Can contributors apply for multiple roles?
You are welcome to apply for all available contributor roles – however you will only be selected for 1 role based on the contents and quality of your portfolio. We want to ensure that as many people as possible can participate!9. How will contributors will be compensated?
Contributors will be given the full digital zine bundle for free upon completion.10. Can contributors submit an older/existing piece of work to the zine?
No – you must make a new and original piece for this zine during the creation period.
